Fall protection is essential for ensuring the safety of workers who are exposed to elevated work environments. This comprehensive course, developed by 3M, a leader in safety solutions, provides in-depth, end-user training on fall protection systems, equipment, regulations, and best practices. Participants will learn how to identify fall hazards, select and use appropriate fall protection measures, and implement effective rescue procedures. Through a combination of theoretical instruction, practical demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, participants will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely at heights.
The course material is energetically delivered and includes hands-on activities, video analysis, and focuses on student participation. This course meets or exceeds the provincial regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Important: Photo ID is required to receive a certificate.
Successful participants will receive a certificate good for three years after passing a written and practical assessment.

Course Fee Includes: M All books and materials, and a certificate upon completion.
Sharing a single registration between two or more individuals is not permitted. Please register each person that will be in attendance.

There are no prerequisites for this course.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for those that are new to the industry or have little to no previous fall protection training. It could also be beneficial for anyone who has let their certification expire for a long period of time.
Course Credit Information
This course is eligible for 2 CCA Gold Seal education credits and 8 BC Housing CPD credits upon completion.
Registrants seeking BC Housing CPD credits for this course must complete all course components before a certificate showing BC Housing CPD credits earned will be issued.
Registrants seeking gold seal credits for this course will be required to complete an assessment during the course to qualify to have the gold seal credit endorsement appear on their certificate of completion.

Refund Policy
COURSE REGISTRATION CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS & REFUNDS:
Cancellations received at least 14 business days prior to the course will result in a full refund.
Cancellations received less than 14 business days but more than 7 full business days prior to the course are subject to an administration fee of $100 per day for full and half-day seminars, or $25 for breakfast sessions.
Registrants who do not show up for a course, and/or who do not notify BCRB at least 7 full business days prior to the course date will be assessed the full cost of the course. There will be no refunds or credits in this case.
Substitution of attendees is permitted up to and including the day of the course.
COURSE CANCELLATION BY BCRB:
BCRB may have to postpone or cancel courses due to insufficient enrolment, in which case BCRB's liability will be limited to a refund of the registration fee.
